I wake abnormally early
And check my diary for the day
'Phone electrician'
We've just bought a house
And so it begins.

Man Friday: Ahoy! T'was June in the year of 2005. On returning from an amazing three day festivaI, I afforded myself a long walk round the lush countryside of Oxfordshire. Whilst perched on a hill, overlooking the handsome Evenlode Valley, I passed air deeply through the nostrils and shook my head in sheer disbelief at the wonder of life. And here I thought to myself: "I should work less. I should have more time to appreciate life - more time to feel what I'm feeling right now. I'm going to ask for my Fridays off. I'm going to have one day a week to do with as I wish and a permanent three day weekend." And that's what I did. It's possible and delightful.
